What is the difference between lock installation and rekeying?
Installation means replacing the physical lock hardware with a new one. Rekeying changes the internal pins so a new key works — cheaper, same security.
Do you do mortise lock installation?
No. Mortise installation requires cutting a pocket into the door frame — I don't offer that service. For standard deadbolt and knob replacements, I can help.
What lock brands do you work with?
Schlage, Kwikset, and Weiser are the most common in Moncton — I'm familiar with all of them. I supply the hardware or can work with locks purchased at hardware stores.
